Soundcheck
Soundcheck is a series of music videos we designed and produced with our friends at Texas Monthly. Inspired by the quiet authenticity of a band's soundcheck ahead of a show, the series provides audiences with rare glimpses of artists at their most relaxed, away from the spotlight and without an audience. We worked closely with Texas Monthly producer and (talented
musician/engineer) Brian Standefer to film dozens of sessions featuring iconic Texas artists, from legendary songwriter Terry Allen to electronic music innovators Ghostland Observatory. Soundcheck celebrates the breadth of Texas’ musical landscape, offering viewers a personal, behind-the-scenes experience outside of the typical concert experience.
